The @walking4slobs managed a long weekend at our beloved Aberfoyle in May 2025. We found some great new places for the Fabulous North website, and managed to bag a couple of existing places in Northumberland and the Borders on the way. There are plenty of ideas of places you may fancy visiting if you are up that way, including major spots like Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and Doune Castle. But we also enjoyed places like Mugdock Country Park and our little island from heaven, Inchmahome. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.
