Another Lonely Day

Another Lonely Day Being a musician, coming home from gigs at 2:00, 3:00 or even 4:00 in the morning, I would sleep until about noon. Sunday was usually a day off, so I would look forward to spending the day with my girlfriend, (who worked a regular 9 to 5 job). Knowing that this is the only day of the week we both had off, I would try to wake up early so we could be together all day. But when I wrote this song, no matter how early I woke up, this particular girlfriend would already be gone for the day on her own. And I was usually left with just another lonely day. This song was recorded in the late 1980’s. I recently touched up the recording a bit in my home studio. As always, no artificial intelligence, (AI), was used.
