Ansys Case Study 4.5
In this tutorial, we solve a static structural case study of a stainless steel combination wrench using ANSYS Workbench . The objective is to determine the maximum total deformation and von Mises stress distribution under a distributed pressure load and fixed boundary conditions. The wrench model has a thickness of 3 mm and is made of stainless steel with the following material properties: Young’s Modulus: 193 GPa Poisson’s Ratio: 0.27 Boundary conditions applied in this simulation: Hexagon on the right end fixed on all sides Distributed pressure load of 2 MPa applied on the open-end wrench surface This video covers: ✔ Geometry setup ✔ Material property assignment ✔ Meshing process ✔ Boundary condition setup ✔ Static structural analysis ✔ Total deformation results ✔ von Mises stress contour interpretation This case study is suitable for students and beginners learning Finite Element Analysis (FEA), stress analysis, and structural simulation using ANSYS Workbench. #ANSYS #FEA #StressAnalysis #VonMisesStress #StaticStructural #MechanicalEngineering #ANSYSWorkbench #FiniteElementAnalysis #EngineeringSimulation #CAD #CAE
