Welcome back to another ANSYS tutorial! Today we will be analyzing the thermal conduction through a composite wall and seeing how it can be useful to compare heat transfer to an electrical system. We will use the steady-state thermal module in ANSYS to solve for the amount of heat flux that will be transfer through a composite wall. This video will first introduce the topic of thermal conduction as well as present the problem statement or project specifications that we are going to use. Then we will go through he steps of choosing the material, building our geometry, meshing and implementing boundary conditions needed to perform this analysis. With the basic knowledge of thermal conduction presented at the beginning of the video, we will be able to validate the results we have obtained from the simulation to ensure they are accurate. Thank you for watching!
