I’ve been experimenting with Houdini by SideFX Software with the goal of creating a custom antigravity spell. Along the way, I found that the RBD Bullet solver combined with a carefully crafted set of constraints was the right abstraction for the problem.
The entire scene was rendered using Karma XPU, and I’m truly impressed by how gracefully it handles complex scenes.
Shoutout to my friend @J@JiriHranacfor creating the character animation and providing valuable artistic feedback that helped shape the final shot.
