I go to my creative world look at long period command block clocks. that is clocks which 'tick' once over a period from 1 second up to 5 minutes or longer. This are used for command block modules that do not need immediate interaction with players but only needs to run once every so often, to change the world around the player, or other entities. A good Command Block Clock needs to... 1/ Able to run continuously in spawn chunks, far from all players 2/ Minimal supporting redstone to prevent block/lighting updates 3/ Not constantly running. That is not a hyper-clock, counting ticks 4/ Immune to or easily protected from lava/water, other mobs 5/ Require a minimal number of command blocks, and space. Clock References...
