We are taught by our Savior that we reap what we sow. We are taught that there is a cause and effect in our lives. Every action plants a seed that grows and eventually is evident in results that impact our lives - for good or bad. So the goals is to do the right things, to grow the "good fruit" and that will take some time, especially if we have been doing the wrong things. We have to reap the bad results first, but, in time, the good will pay off.
