The Copy write belongs to the original owners ,"The Shadows" and group. English songwriter- composer Jerry Lordan came up with this tune in late 1950s. Lordan was inspired to write this song after watching the American western film Apache in 1954. It was originally recorded by British guitarist Best Weedon in early 1960, but remained unreleased for several months due to promotion and release problems.However Lordan didn't like Weedon's version. Lordan played the song on ukulele to the 'Shadows' while on tour and liking the song, the group did their own version and released - which topped the UK single chart for five weeks in mid 1960 (July). Singer-guitarist Joe Brown did not like his Italian-built tape echo unit and gave it to The Shadows' guitarist Hank Marvin and Hank developed a distinctive sound using it and the Tremelo-arm of his Fender Strat'. I played this tune with my Fender Strat through the Hall & Collins Echo unit and recorded in logic-pro using the Boss Katana amp. Video edititng in Adobe pro.
