The new controller will have Modbus Communication integrated in to the main casing. Unlike the CX, there is no need for a “piggy-back” solution. The additional cost for the Modbus module will be a fraction of the solution which is available for the current model. If a customer buys a non- Modbus device, the socket will be there and only Menu 700 (Modbus settings) will not be visible. A later upgrade to Modbus will be possible, if the device is sent to our factory. With start of sales, the device will be fully certified by UL (TÜV) and CE standards. - The firmware is proven to be reliable and sold close to 100.000 times. It is not a 100% new development, so we keep the reliable, tested core of the present device. Previously, one output relay had to be sacrificed if a fan was connected. The new model will have 6 outputs + fan + alarm + digital input / 12 outputs + fan + alarm + digital input.A new control algorithm has been added: FIFO algorithm (the first bank in will be the first bank to be switched off). Best Fit, Combined Filter and LIFO and Progressive Algorithms will remain. Digital Input (for example to switch from target cos phi 1 to target cos phi 2) is now standard. The step data base now counts both: usage time and number of switches of the respective step so step balancing can be done on operation cycles or hours. - Display will shut off the backlight in order to extend lifetime of LCD illumination. Internal Temperature Sensor is standard - The AI Algorithm takes advantage of the more powerful hardware. The AI Algorithm is a complete rework against the CX Controller.
