Apple Got Caught LYING About Apple Intelligence!

In June 2024 at WWDC, Apple promoted a smarter, more personalized Siri as part of Apple Intelligence. They ran TV ads. They put it in iPhone 16 launch marketing. They charged premium prices. Then in March 2025, Apple quietly delayed those Siri features indefinitely. On May 5, 2026, the company agreed to pay $250 million to settle a class action lawsuit — Landsheft v. Apple Inc., Case No. 5:25-cv-02668 — that alleged Apple falsely advertised AI features that did not exist. Apple denies wrongdoing. The preliminary approval hearing is scheduled for June 17, 2026.
