I bought a second hand Apple Cinema Display advertised as being in perfect condition. The connector cables were a bit worn out but functional but I found out the right speaker had blown out.
I then decided I wanted to install a KVM switch so I can share the monitor between the work windows laptop and my Mac mini using a single USB-C cable rather than mini display port and a USB A plug.
The display has a mini display port for the video and a USB A cable for the webcam and for the internal USB hub for the 3 rear ports.
This monitor also has a faulty power supply where it will remain black after coming out of sleep mode. To get it going again I need to pull out the power cord for 10 seconds and try again. So to make this easier I installed a simple power switch.
