Aranea Highwind Cosplay Tutorial - Part 2
Two videos in one day! That’s what happens when there’s a snow day! This wig was a beast! I learned 2 things with this… 1. I really don’t like ponytail wigs and 2. the acrylic ink and alcohol method of dyeing wigs doesn’t work for me. That being said, I gained a new skill. I didn’t film the dyeing process because it was just too messy. But, there are plenty of videos out there to see how it’s done. I personally didn’t care for the texture of the wig after dyeing it and the color itself was a little patchy even though I was sure to saturate the entire wig. Enjoy! The materials I used: Jeannie wig from Arda Wigs in Ash Blonde Spray bottle FW Liquid Artists’ Acrylic Ink in cool grey 91% Isopropyl Alcohol Small black elastic hair ties Rat tail comb Hair straightener Grosgrain ribbon hot glue and glue gun hairspray tacky glue scissors INSTAGRAM: The_Gnome_Queen http://instagram.com/the_gnome_queen FACEBOOK: Gnome Queen https://www.facebook.com/TheGnomeQueen EMAIL: [email protected] TWITTER: GnomeQueen6 https://twitter.com/gnomequeen6
