Arbortext and Forms Using DITA, Styler and APP Formatting Engine

This hands-on workshop explains how to configure Arbortext to produce HTML and PDF documents containing forms components (text fields, check boxes, Combo boxes…), using DITA based XML topics files. It is an opportunity to discover or remember the simple customization techniques that impart so much flexibility to Arbortext products e.g. • DITA specialization to adapt XML structure to your needs • XUI boxes and scripting for tailoring Editor’s editing surface • Adding scripts in Styler Stylesheets for enriching HTML and PDF published content • Modularizing Arbortext configuration files (e.g. stylesheets) for facilitating reuse among multiple document types
