In this video I discuss what the spring does, how it works, and explain why we don't get 4lb of resistance form a 4lb aftermarket spring.
If you are here to find out how much resistance you get from a 4lb spring installed into the standard Sanwa JLF joystick, let me burst your bubble; it's not 4lb. Not even close. According to my measurements, the force needed to actuate switches on a Sanwa JLF joystick with a 4lb spring is 0.795lb or 361g. I go into a bit of detail as to why that is in my video - have a look.
