ARDEX S 1-K™ One-Component Waterproofing and Crack Isolation Membrane is a very easy-to-use, single component, two coat waterproofing compound that provides a strong, durable and flexible waterproof coating. It is premixed and is available in two popular sizes. ARDEX S 1-K bonds tenaciously to a wide range of substrates including concrete, masonry finishes, existing tile, drywall, plaster, cement backerboards, and plywood. ARDEX S 1-K™ is ideal for use in bathrooms, showers and other wet areas that require topside waterproof protection. In addition, ARDEX S 1-K provides an excellent bonding coat for ARDEX tile and stone mortars. ARDEX S 1-K can be used as a crack isolation membrane up to 1/8".
