Healthcare IT has made enormous strides over the last several years in improving the efficiency, safety and quality of healthcare, but the systems are not perfect. This video suggests that adapting technology to fit our needs will require healthcare providers to participate in decision making about health IT, contribute to system design, and examine their workflow to assure that the systems meet their needs.
