ARIMA model forecast with confidence interval in EViews

✅ ARIMA model forecast with confidence interval in EViews. In this tutorial i will show you how to add confidence interval to your ARIMA time series forecast model. Finally, I will show you how to edit the forecast graph in EViews so it looks more professional. The model we used to estimate and forecast the mean equation was an ARIMA (1,1,3) model. Series: Consumer Price Index (CPI) USA. To add confidence intervals to your ARIMA forecasts in EViews we need to do it manually. EViews doesn't have an option to include the confidence bands. How are we going to do it? we will calculate the confidence intervals as: Mean +- 2 Standard errors (+- 2s.e.). This way, our forecasts will show an upper bound and lower bound.
