Arithmetic Progression
Arithmetic progression is a sequence of numbers in which the successive terms increase or decrease by a constant number.
1,4,7,10 ............ is an arithmetic progression where successive terms increase by a constant number 3. Similarly 100, 96,92,...... is an arithmetic progression where successive terms decrease by a constant number 4. The constant number is called the common difference (d).
