In this video we look at a special type of sequence called an Arithmetic Sequences. We define what an Arithmetic Sequence is and come up with 3 different formulas for this Sequence. We do multiple different types of examples of Arithmetic Sequences. We look at showing a sequence is Arithmetic, finding the first term of the sequence, finding the common difference of the sequence. Given information about the Arithmetic Sequence we find the formula for the nth term of the sequence. We also look at Summation Formulas of Arithmetic Sequences and do examples finding sums of Arithmetic sequences. We conclude the topic with an application example.
