King Rhobar summoned the mages to imprison the enemies, But the prison devoured them all — Orcs and humans in the earth. The Old Camp rules with ore, the thieves’ gold gleams in the dark, The New Camp dreams of water, freedom in the poisoned swamps. Brothers of the Swamp smoke weed and call upon the Sleeper deep below, While Xardas laughs in his towers — the necromancer who summoned truth. (Chorus) Oh, Nameless Hero, through dust and blood and ashes you walk, Between Innos’ light and Beliar’s shadow, where the gods silently clash. The Barrier breaks, the world perishes, yet you rise, In Gothic’s darkest world — where every step could be your last. (Verse 2) The Sleeper awakens in dreams of stone, his whisper drives us into madness, Goblins laugh, wolves howl, the mine devours the last man. The hero from nowhere grows strong, learns to fight, to learn, to kill, to steal, From miner to warrior, from prisoner to savior of souls. Khorinis calls in the second chapter, the city of thieves and honor, The Dragon Hunter heads into the mountains, where the ancient evil returns. Adanos weeps for balance, but Beliar laughs loudly in the dark, And Xardas opens new gates — the circle turns without mercy.
