Intel informa que ha ocurrido un genocidio a gran escala. Las Naciones Unidas han desplegado 1.000 "cascos azules" en el aeropuerto de Sarajevo para establecer una "zona segura" y proporcionar asistencia humanitaria. Operation Deliberate Force is designed to be a sustained air campaign conducted by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), in concert with the ground operations of the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR), to undermine the military capability of the Bosnian Serb Army (Army of the Republika Srpska or VRS), which had threatened and attacked UN designated "safe zones" in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Bosnian war with the Srebrenica and Markale massacres, precipitating the intervention. The bombing of the Sarajevo market square on August 28, 1995 by the VRS is seen as the immediate instigating factor in NATO's decision to initiate the operation. OUR MISSION Per NATO's request, USSOCOM assigned the SEAL team 2 clandestine operations to prevent the Bosnian Serb army from carrying out military operations in Bosnia, committing atrocities and targeting civilians.
