In this video, two engineers from Design World detail a newer line of near-motor drives from Rockwell Automation. Allen-Bradley Armor PowerFlex VFDs offer engineers a new option for decentralized control. The drives replace multiple components with one integrated motor control solution that mounts directly to machines, reducing cost and saving floor space. It is part of a family of On-Machine solutions Rockwell Automation designed to help customers build simpler more modular machines that are faster to install, easier to maintain, improve productivity and flexibility, and reduce risk.
