Artificial General Intelligence | AGI
Artificial intelligence can be categorized into three main types: 1- artificial narrow intelligence (ANI), 2- artificial general intelligence (AGI) and 3- artificial superintelligence (ASI) For queries: You can comment in comment section or you can mail me at [email protected] The AI which we have these days is know as “Weak AI or Narrow AI” and AGI (Artificial General Intelligence ) is a General AI , what we hope to achieve Examples of Narrow AI include the following: • Chatbots: Chatbots are used for conversations • recommendation engines : Amazon, Spotify, and Netflix all use narrow AI algorithms(designed to solve only one problem) to recommend what products and services we might like. • voice assistants like Siri and Alexa; • Face Recognition Artificial general intelligence is also called strong AI. The aim of Strong AI is to create intelligent machines that behave identical to human mind. When Machine will have cognitive ability like Humans then AGI will be achieved 2 Months back, Deep Mind which is an AI Subsidiary of Google released a “new generalist” AI model called Gato that can perform many different tasks that humans can do Gato (this AI model) can perform more than 600 different tasks, such as playing video games, captioning images and moving real-world robotic arms. Is Gato an AGI? According to Nando de Freitas (lead research scientist at DeepMind) tweeted that “the game is over” when Gato was released, and suggested that achieving AGI was now simply a matter of making AI models bigger and more efficient, and feeding more training data in. Strong AI or artificial general intelligence is only theoretical at this point. AI researchers and scientists have not yet achieved strong AI .
