ASMR doing my makeup 💕

Please read me :) I want to mention something about this eyeshadow. The pressed pigments in this palette (the glitter shades) are marked “not recommended for use around immediate eye area.” This is something that you see a lot with certain shades/finishes of eyeshadows from drugstore brands to indie brands like this one. It’s mainly due to staining of the lids from the dyes and possible irritation they can cause the eyes. I’ve used dozens of different eyeshadows and pigments over the years and have never had problems but I did with this one. It stained my lids, which is fine. But the irritation is what concerns me. I wore the look for around 7 hours with no problem, but after removal my eyelids *were a bit sore.* When I woke up this morning they still felt a little tender but within a few hours the irritation completely went away. It could have possible been from the towel and remover I used to get the product off, but I can’t be certain it wasn’t the shadow itself because I’ve used that remover before with no issues. It’s truly one of the most beautiful palettes I’ve ever owned but it definitely gives me pause in using it again. So if you were considering picking it up, just be cautious. I would absolutely hate for someone to buy something they saw me use and have a reaction to it.
