🦀 When a hermit crab grows, it needs to find a bigger shell.
Sometimes, several hermit crabs gather and form a sort of “shell exchange market.”
It works like a chain: the smallest crab moves into a slightly bigger shell, then another crab takes its place, and so on in a very specific order to avoid chaos or competition.
