So how far can its native utility token ATOM reach in terms of price, and is it worth investing? ATOM launched in an initial coin offering in 2017 and raised $17 million. ATOM currently has a circulating supply of $286 million but it does not have a cap on its maximum supply. This makes ATOM inflationary with an estimated 7-20% annual inflation. The vesting schedule for ATOM has also been completed. However, Cosmos has some significant developments on its roadmap for 2022. The first one is the Rho upgrade, expected to be completed by Q2 of 2022. It will introduce NFTs and liquid staking in the Cosmos ecosystem. The second one is the Lambda upgrade, expected to be completed by the end of 2022. It will bring interchain security, allowing Cosmos validators to secure other Cosmos-based projects. If it can deliver on its roadmap, ATOM can reach a price of around $18 by the end of 2023 and a price of $34 by the end of 2024.
