Automatic Transfer Switch transfer loads to Back up/emergency Power whenever there is no power from your Electric Cooperative. This will automatically trigger your generator sets to run automatically and switch OFF your normal circuit breaker then switch ON your emergency circuit breaker automatic. Basically you need a generator set that can run automatically. Without it, there will be no automatic switching from normal power to emergency power.
