Attaching a strobe pack to a light stand

I use climbing sling and a mayfer clamp (made by Matthews, Kupo, Manfrotto and others) to keep my pack off of the floor. It's one less thing to bump into. You can also use a J Hook with a mayfer clamp - I would show you that - but I don't own a J Hook. You can get the clamp/hook at Adorama, B&H or other photo stores (or Amazon). Climbing sling is inexpensive and can be found at REI, a climbing store or Amazon.
