This video shows you a step-by-step process for fabricating a hinge for a Werner steel pull-down attic stair using tools available in most home shops. Making this hinge saved me a lot of work and cost, not to mention the negative environmental impact of throwing the entire stair into a landfill. Since a replacement hinge was not available, this turned out to be the best solution.
