A quick tip today about how to use the Macro feature available in the Audacity audio editing software. It allows you to create multi-step processes that can apply effects and other transformations to one or more files. In my case, I wanted to reduce the volume of some mp3 files but didn't want to do it one at a time. I created a macro to reduce the volume by about 50% and then ran it against all of the files at once. Magic!
