Hey YouTube, this video is a power point style walk through covering how to set up an audio interface with your DAW (digital audio workstation). In the video, I specifically show you how to use both a regular audio interface, a linear pcm recorder (like the tascam or zoom recorders), and how to use the two of them together at the same time. My specific audio interface is Focusrite's Scarlett Solo, which is a $99 great beginner audio interface that I highly recommend for producer's with tight spaces like myself Also, I am using the Tascam DR-40 as my Linear PCM recorder, which is another quality device that can be used as its own independent audio interface on the go and runs for about $150 For the microphones, I will be using the AT2035 (a condenser mic around $130) and the Shure SM57 (a standard instrument mic at $100), which are both high quality and relatively cheap. Let me know if you have any questions about how to set up a similar audio interface. I may be able to help you specifically depending on the setup. Also something to keep in mind: you are going to need certain cables for this to work. I would recommend either 3.5mm to 1/4" cables, or a standard 3.5mm aux cord with 1/4" adapters, which usually come with studio headphones (or you can buy them in packs of 5 or so on amazon).
