In the end of June 2017 I was with my dad, the composer Ananda Sukarlan spending a few days with the Aboriginal Yolngu tribe of the Northern Territory, Australia.
My dad did research on the Northern traditional Songlines for his orchestral work, "The Voyage of Marege' " about the arrival of the Makassar sailors in Australia starting from the 18th century.
