Automatic 5 gallon bucket labeling.

Bucket labeling is a relatively common application, but this project includes label orientation along with a flexible bail. ULS engineers designed a system that adapts to the flexible bail, orients the container, and applies crescent-shaped labels to conical-shaped buckets. The buckets can be manually or automatically loaded onto the system conveyor. The buckets are detected, captured, rotated, and labeled to the proper orientation. Labels are transported via a vacuum transfer grid. The system includes a synchronously linked label applicator, product encapsulator, and rotating bail guide.
