The Automatic Breakaway Torque Tester automates this highly skilled operation. The DI-12 can also be used to determine the yield torque of a screw or bolt joint which is crucial in determining a target tightening torque for a fastener. Lastly, DI-12 is also able to tighten fasteners to a desired torque value, set in the instrument.
