In Fall of 2017, the HMCSE department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Muhammad Rashid Best Project Award 2nd Place prize was awarded to the Design of an Autonomous Lawn Mower team. The Group members were: Kyle Chisum, Evan DeBusk, Corey Stinar, Devin Wisdom and the Specialty Advisor was Dr. A. Fuchs. The goal of this project is to reduce the annual number of mower blade injuries, while minimizing the physical stress required to mow a lawn for at-risk health populations.
