Bert's magnum opus, title track of his 1979 album, could be termed a "Guitar Concerto in D", and consists of several sections or "movements" - changing from major to minor and back, moving to different metres and tempos, and accompanied most of the way by violin and bass, of course.
The opening theme is around 3 minutes, and can work as a guitar solo piece in its own right. This lesson is on the first section of the theme - a relatively easy stroll in DADGAD tuning.
