Before going live, it’s crucial to check your content to avoid playback surprises. If you’re unable to loop a clip, or if it unexpectedly skips to the next clip despite Auto Transition with Next being enabled, your system may be detecting a premature end.
Here’s a quick fix:
Some media uploads can trigger this issue, but BroadcastPix has a built-in workaround in its production switchers and clip players.
How to Fix It:
1. Verify the issue
- Check the Event Logs or the Device Control Strip for errors.
- Manually advance to the end of the clip—do you see an error message?
2. Adjust the clip’s out point
- With the clip selected, tap Controls in the PixPad, then Mark In/Out.
- Scrub back a frame or two from the last frame triggering the error.
- Tap Mark Out to set a new endpoint.
3. Test & finalize
- Toggle between the first and last frames—if the error disappears, you’ve fixed it!
By making this quick adjustment, you’ll ensure smooth playback and avoid unexpected cutoffs during your live production.
