This documentary follows the journey of eight young Indigenous school students as they travel to Vietnam. Having made the leap from their home communities in Central Australia to boarding school in Adelaide, they must once again navigate a new land, language and culture amidst the busy streets of Hanoi.
The trip was a volunteering experience for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and was in conjunction with local organisation SJ Vietnam. It has since become an annual event, open to Wiltja Secondary College students in years 11 and 12.
