In this video I perform much of the AWS CDK workshop. The AWS Cloud Development Kit allows you to use a single programming language to both program an application as well as build the infrastructure for your application (rather than using a separate language like CloudFormation or Terraform HCL). My former students working at AWS say that this is what is being used internally and they highly recommend it. By the way, type 'cdk destroy' in the terminal window at the end of this to clean up your resources.
