Axles Adjusted And Rolling #52
Another day, another run — starting the morning in Duncanon, Pennsylvania with just 123 km left to our delivery. After pushing the clock to the absolute limit the night before, we wrapped up our inspections, grabbed our coffees, and hit the road early. Plans changed fast when our original pickup got switched over to New Jersey due to timing constraints, but that’s trucking — adapt and keep rolling. After getting loaded, the next challenge was the scale house. We ended up 80 lbs overweight on the trailer, so a quick axle adjustment got everything balanced out and legal without having to get reworked. From Pennsylvania into New Jersey and back down I-95, traffic, scales, tight timing, and long hours made for another full day on the road. We finally shut it down for the night at one of our favorite stops — Snappy's in Allenwood, Pennsylvania — with just under an hour left on the clock. Still not 100% sure where dispatch is sending us next, but the nose is pointed toward the yard for now.
