This 40 minute long, full-length tutorial shows you from start to finish how to make your own Babybel Cake- easily adaptable to any cheese wheel cake.
This video covers:
Filling the cake
Carving the cake
Masking the cake
Covering the cake in fondant and how to make it stay shiny
Creating a realistic label with the correct proportions.
What you need:
(x2) 6" round cakes
Buttercream (I use Swiss Meringue. You will need enough to fill and frost the cake)
Fondant (I used Satin Ice. You can use any colors- but you will need red, yellow, white, and green if you are making the Babybel cake)
(x2) 6" round cake boards (Cut one to be 5". This will be the base board of the cake.)
