Back at the basement job today and it's time to backfill it. I had the excavator there first cause I just finished with another job and needed to use it to place the clean rock around the perimeter of the basement for the drain. I put about 2.5' of clean rock on top of the drain then started pushing the clay in. Also had to set some blocks for pillars for the porch.
