Today I bring up XG and show you the 'Trap Play'. We look at why it is effective and make some variations to the position to improve your thinking over the board. These are some further adjustments to the starting position from video - try some of your own to learn further :) CHECKER ADJUSTMENT -Giving green a six-point board with spare on ace - 18/13 is best; 7/6 7/3 is an 0.041 error -Moving white checker from 14 to 8, 18/13 is best; 7/6 7/3 is an 0.014 borderline mistake -Moving one of green's dead checkers from their ace to 24-point, 15/10 is best; 7/6 7/3 is an 0.136 BLUNDER SCORE ADJUSTMENT -At 3a/1a Crawford: 15/10 is best; 7/6 7/3 is an 0.068 error (gammons are less efficient as they don't win match) -At DMP: same as above; 7/6 7/3 is an 0.080 error (gammons have non value) Thanks for watching and supporting my channel.
