The plaintiff says she owns a two-family home and hired the defendants, real estate agents, to find tenants. She claims she set the rent at $1,500, but the tenants placed by the defendants are not paying that amount. She also alleges the tenants bring strange guests and the home now smells like marijuana. She is suing for misrepresentation. The defendants say they’ve worked with over 150 landlords, and this is the first time one has taken legal action over a tenant issue.
