Bald Mountain Fire Lookout

SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/lifeofluke A unique fire lookout structure stands atop of Bald Mountain north of Mammoth, CA, in the Eastern Sierra. Just this year, in fire season 2025, it was selected to be restaffed by human lookout volunteers, who get to stay in the living quarters up there with 360 degree views. Next to the lookout there is also a warming cabin for winter snowmobile users. From Mono Lake, Lee Vining, to June Mountain, Mt Lyell, and south to Mammoth, Mt Morrison, Laurel, and Bloody mountain, there is so many epic views to soak in. Thanks for watching!
