Hydrogen gas can be used to fill balloons using a compressed hydrogen gas cylinder. The cylinder is fitted with a pressure regulator and a balloon nozzle. Balloons are placed on the nozzle and filled by gently releasing the gas. Due to hydrogen's low density, the balloons rise quickly.
