A Cinema 4D test, just some balls sliding down a slimy table, and they stick to edge until they fall down.
The animation has ZERO key-frames, I used a open ended cone and cylinder to force the route of the balls, and some wind to get them going. The indent on the surface is the Collision Deformer, there is another table underneath for the physics.
