Bamboo Model Along: Hyperbolic Tower

Ever wanted to make your own bamboo model? Join us live where we make a hyperbolic tower structural system with our project architect, Mike. You can follow along the model-making process with Mike! All you’ll need are: * A pack of bamboo model-making sticks (or bamboo cooking/barbecue sticks from the grocery store) * Mini rubber bands * 3-5 pieces of corrugated cardboard, layered and stuck together to form a base for your model * An awl piercing tool or something with a sharp tip to poke holes into your cardboard base * A compass or an object you can use to draw a circle (like a roll of tape, the base of a mug, etc) * Ruler * Pencil Want to learn more about structural systems?
