Band Warm up - Set 2
Set 2 is designed to begin stretching the band’s abilities in range, articulation, and musicianship. This warm up starts with a breathing and tuning sequence that eventually builds into a triad. It is followed by a very short chorale which shoes even more full chords and is a good opportunity to engage the ensemble in interpreting what the conductor wants you to do. A more expanded range begins in these warm ups so be sure to give them time to familiarize themselves with these new notes. These warm ups are composed to be played sequentially but can be done out of order and with skips.
