In this video, I wanted to go into some detail on creating original drum beats using the drum machine feature of BandLab. Later in the video, I also discuss the same process using the piano roll which is more common in other DAWs.
Creating drum beats can be daunting at first, especially if you have never played a real drum kit. Hopefully this video will help you with the absolute basics. Later down the line, you will feel confident in making beats that are authentic to the style that you are writing in!
